Abstract The papers of Ulysses Sherman Grant (professor and chair of the Department of Geology at Northwestern University) include biographical material, correspondence, publications, autographs and field course notes. The biographical material includes a number of obituaries, clippings, and articles. The bulk of the correspondence is from Ulysses to Avis Winchell Grant before and after their marriage.
